Pakistan elections: In a major blow to former Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Pakistan Election Commission on Saturday rejected his candidature for the upcoming country’s parliamentary election. His lawyers have said they will appeal. Khan is in prison serving a three-year sentence for corruption and also faces a stack of other charges, making it difficult for him to run for office.
