In a major setback for Pakistan, a top minister claimed that the country has temporarily delayed the multi-billion dollar gas pipeline project to import cheap energy from neighbouring Iran. According to a media report, Islamabad did it under pressure from the United States which has imposed multiple sanctions against Tehran over its nuclear programme.
